MARSHALL, Eunice Mabel (nee Anderson)

May 7, 1936 – Manson, Manitoba
March 24, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

Eunice Marshall of Calgary, AB passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the age of 82 years.

Eunice was born near Manson, MB on the farm of her parents, Mabel and Arthur Anderson, on May 7, 1936. Eunice was the youngest of Mabel and Arthur’s six children. When Eunice was nineteen, she met the love of her life, Dave Marshall who did just about anything he could to get a date with her (he almost hit her with his milk truck). The two were married on June 22, 1957 and moved onto the Marshall farm on Manson Corner where they had three children, Carolee (Garth), Wayne (Roxy) and Marilyn (Shawn). After Dave passed away in 1996, Eunice moved to Calgary to be closer to her kids and grandkids.

In addition to her three children, Eunice is survived by her four grandchildren, Dan (Beth), Lindsay, Carly and Kurtis who truly were the lights of her life. Eunice also played an important role in the lives of all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren she inherited throughout her life.
Eunice also leaves behind her best friend, Fez. The two were inseparable and could usually be found sitting on the deck in the sun sharing peanut butter toast and milk.
Eunice will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her kind heart and big hugs. She was a staple in the Marshall household in Calgary where she instantly became everyone’s “Nanny”.

A memorial will be held in her honour in Moosomin, SK at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

Eunice’s family would like to thank all those who supported and loved her throughout the years.

In living memory of Eunice Marshall, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB, T2X 3J3, Telephone: 403-256-9575.
