It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Adeline “Slim” Manywounds on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the age of 55 years.
Adeline will be missed by her siblings, Sharon, Shane and Livia; her adopted brother Jackson Prairie Chicken, her sister-in-law Cecelia Wesley, her nephews and nieces, Lyndon, Trevor (Stephanie), Racquel (Teak), Denny (Erin), Rayshel (Clovis), Sherman Jr. (Lennea), Dusty, Chandler, Darby, Brock, Koda, Joeyira and Sierra. The family apologizes for anyone missed. Adeline was predeceased by her loving parents, Francis and Laurette Manywounds; her brother Sherman Manywounds Sr., her sister Rena Manywounds; her husband Patrick Wesley, grandparents, Peter and Annie Manywounds, George Runner, Sam and Genevieve Cutter and numerous extended relatives.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank Laura Manywounds, Clint Manywounds, Tsuu T’ina Healthy Living staff, Rockyview ICU Unit 73 as well as the Doctors and Nurses.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of Shane Manywounds, Tsuut’ina Nation, AB on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (3700 Anderson Road S.W.) on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow Tsuu T’ina Cemetery (Tsuu T’ina Nation, AB). Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
