Condolence from Christi M on March 29th, 2012 7:02 PM

Hi, I knew Remi From new beginnings, & later spent 2 weeks with him in David Landerscentre in Claresholm. We had similar pasts with our battles. He visited me at my dad’s DQ. He was moving that day, to a new place, seemed happy, & he was always so supportive & non-judgmental. He was one of a kind, I thought of him a month ago, sent him a quick message. His short life is a reminder to me how cunning, baffling, & powerful our disease is. May God comfort you….& know his life touched many in recovery.

—-Poem of Life—-
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what’s to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay…
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey’s quicker,
For some the journey’s slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We’ll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord.

My deepest prayers are with the family. I had known Remi since he was in High School as he became a very dear friend of my daughter Tara Crittenden. Our family enjoyed Remi’s company on numerous occasions throughout the years, and I grew to love him as a third son. Through his hardships, we always prayed he would get stronger and better. Remi was a wonderful caring individual who touched the hearts of many.

You’re with the Angels now Remi…be at peace, you will always be remembered.
