  2. Cameron Hornaday :

Zenon was one of my favourite people, and will be deeply missed. His family was my extended family, as my mom leaned on Donna & Zenon in the absence of her own family. It was during those holidays, I was blessed with the Magusiaks’ holiday eats, boardgames, gift exchanges and the ever-stimulating conversation with Zenon. He would often sit back while many of us were excited over making the next-best move in a board-game, only to share a hilarious quip. This of course, after he was the consensus first pick at at ‘theory’ board game.

He was a considerate, reserved, and well read man. I regret not enjoying more of his time, and will deeply miss him.

    We lost a great man.

Myra, Stephen & Donna, my sincere condolences.

Sincerest condolences. I consider myself very fortunate to have worked with Zenon. He had a dry wit that could lighten the darkest days and the dirtiest jobs. I left Prudential, a better electrician, having worked with Zenon. He was a wealth of knowledge, and experience, which he generously shared. A great team player who led by example.
    RIP Brother.

Zenon, the English lit. Prof. Posing as an exceptional maintenance electrician in a steel plant. Unfortunately, totally unable to hide and share his love of books. Most well read man I have ever known.

  13. Zenon was my adored big brother. When I was a little girl he bought me books by Khalil Gibran (The Prophet) as well as books of poetry by Leonard Cohen. He introduced me to Joni Mitchell and Judy Collins. He had a poster of Judy Collins on his bedroom wall. All I wanted for my birthday was a doll and my love for any kind of music was still a few years away. But I was always so happy for the attention he gave to my education. And one day I realized he was not only my adored big brother. He had become my friend as well. We had found some common ground. Things changed over the years. We lived in different cities, had our own families and interests, but he remained my adored older brother and I always remained proud to be his sister.
