Dear Dawn, Abbie and Fraser. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Barry was an incredible man who did everything with so much effort and energy. His love for you was prevalent in absolutely everything he did and said. Barry talked all the time about his wee family that he was so proud of and I am thankful that I got to share in that with him. Please know that the love and respect for Barry goes very deep with so many people and I am thankful to have had him as a friend … and to have him challenge me relentlessly at work to make things better! Warmest regards and love to you all in this difficult time.

  11. Dawn, Abbie, and Fraser, I’m so sorry for your loss. Barry (Baz) was a great guy and a fantastic player for the Rogues during his couple/few years with us. He actually retired from playing with us cos he “felt like he was letting the team down” which wasn’t true of course, but was a measure of the man in thinking of others before himself. Or he was just lazy!! Either way; a great guy and will be sadly missed. 🙂 If there’s anything I can do to help you get through this awful time please don’t hesitate to reach out. All the best. Gary

At times such as this there are no words……….this world has lost another amazing man. Barry was your typical Scotsman: funny, sarcastic, self-deprecating, proud, kind, generous and fiercely proud of his family. They simply don’t come any better than that. “Big man, I know there’s someone waiting for you with a pint in hand.”
Forever in our hearts……Janice, Hannah & Mhairi xxx
