From the first time I met him while lawn bowling at Stanley Park, followed by purchases of lawn bowls, I realised what a gentleman he was. My only regret is that he always managed to beat me at lawn bowls. Our thoughts are with Angela at this time.

With sincere condolences Angela and to your family to hear of the passing of Norm. We shared I believe happy times in Oakridge. I remember the first time I met Norm in 1977 when he came to my door with an invitation for a meet and greet evening at your home. That was the start of many dinners and chess games he had with Domenic. Not to forget the day in the 80’s when we were all snowed in and the two of you ploughed your way four doors down to our house before lunch and stayed until after supper. Take care, talk soon, love from Julie

So sorry we can’t be there to say a proper good-bye to Norm but our prayers will be said for him and he will be remember. Besides being the gentleman, the bow ties and bowling against him, favourite memory is of Chef Norm at the Christmas jitneys with his white hat on. May family and friends give you the strength and support at this sad period in your life.

My deepest condolences. Norm sat with me before curling. I was new to the group. He was so very kind and funny. Proud of his family. Talked about Queens University. He encouraged me to try lawn bowling. Loved his ties. He was a special, sweet man. Although I only knew him for a short time he left a BIG impression on me. Grateful to have crossed paths with him.
    Diana Lawrence.
