Condolence from Peter, Donna, Christopher & Patrick on November 2nd, 2014 7:45 PM

Dona Jone was a wonderful, generous and thoughtful family friend. We will always cherish the memories she has given us for the past 22 years and the knowledge & experience she shared with us in such a profound way. She will be dearly missed. Rest in peace Sweet Lady.

Condolence from Filomena St. Jean on November 5th, 2014 6:04 AM

I will truly miss Jone Lord, she was a very unique Lady. She always had things to say about life and her experiences. She lived her life on her own terms and was a very independent woman. She is now in a better place where she is free to do as she wishes. God bless her.

Condolence from Joan Welgan on November 10th, 2014 7:55 PM

Dona Jone was a strong, independent, no nonsense woman with a quick wit. She truly did live her life on her own terms and I found her to be an intelligent, interesting woman. I loved listening to her stories about all the adventures she had experienced in her past and about all of the wonderful places she had travelled to. Dona Jone was a wonderful, caring, giving friend and I will truly miss her. Rest in peace and God bless!

Condolence from Barb Tardi on November 11th, 2014 6:05 PM

Dona Jone!!! What a super great lady!!! I was “just her mail lady”, but she became a wonderful dear family friend to myself and my children; always passing along her great knowledge and worldly experiences to us; which we were always amazed at. Eccentric would come to mind when describing her… we enjoyed her for that very quality. She will be at peace now and forever missed and loved, from Barb and family

Condolence from Barb Mackenzie on November 15th, 2014 10:20 AM

The most generous lady I know….us Glenmore Landing Hallmark ladies loved her, and we tried our best to see her needs were met.
Yes, she was eccentric, but much thought of and loved, and she always had a story ready, and went on many rabbit trails about her life experiences. She will be sorely missed.
One of a kind…an age of grand ladies that I fear will never be repeated ..
We saw you getting tired of life, now there are no more struggles, RIP..

Condolence from Chantelle on November 25th, 2014 12:34 PM

Dona Jone, I remember when I was little you used to call me penny and every year on my brothers birthday you would send him an eye witness book and when I was little you sent me a royal dalton bunny dish set and I just wanted to say thank you and tell you that I hope you are in a better place now .

Condolence from Marni Kaufman nee Ball on October 17th, 2015 12:08 AM
