    The Little Family
It was with heavy sadness that I received the call from Joey telling me of your Mom’s passing. As I love each member of the family dearly. I am very sad that I will not be able to attend the services. I shall always fondly remember one of the classiest, gracious ladies I ever had the pleasure to meet (even though our initial meeting was on a friday afternoon drinking session in Dicken’s Pub, an establishment all the Littles knew, and one that should have had honorary chairs for Pat and I. She could laugh at the ribald humour, loud rauciuos behaviour, rapid fire drinking of Pat and I and yet never would an outside observer question her class. I watched her unfettered love and caring for Joe and all her children and the pain she endured when they were sick or grieving or suffering loss. Her faith remained strong throughout, and when we were last together in Rockyview and her condition was tenuous, she was an absolute mirror of resolute strength. I was very blessed to be almost a half-Little and to have been treated unbelieveably well by both Joe and Tin. I am sad I cant be there, but know each of you well enough that you will feel my presence spiritually. The world was a better place for your Mom having been a part of itand her memory still gives me strength— RIP Olga Little and you will be re-united with Joe and Pat. xo
