LeGeyt, Lorraine (nee Digney)

Lorraine Haroldine LeGeyt, beloved wife of Edward LeGeyt, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the age of 82 years.

Born and raised in Calgary, Lorraine became a Registered Nurse in 1955 at the Calgary General Hospital. Ed and Lorraine’s love story began on July 9, 1955 and they recently celebrated their 61st anniversary.

Lorraine was a loving mother to Leslie MacDonald (Don), Shelley Blackall (O’Brian), Melanie LeGeyt, and Nicole Eisner (Dennis). She was the ultimate grandmother and will be especially missed by her grandchildren Niall, Erin, Stephanie, Brittany, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, Logan, Alyssa, Digney, and Ty. Lorraine was a proud great-grandmother of nine, with two more on the way. She will be lovingly remembered by her twin sister Laurine Hellam, niece Trilawnee Sutton, nephew Blake Hellam and her many friends and family. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Harold and Jean Digney and grandparents John and Jeannie Tawse.
