KRAWCHUK, John L.

May 1, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

John left for his eternal home in heaven with Jesus after a courageous battle with cancer.

John received his Chartered Accountant’s designation sixty years ago and was an honorary member. He retired from Adeco Drilling and Engineering in April 1990 where he was Vice President for many years.

Besides his loving wife, Joyce Avramenko-Krawchuk, John is survived by his daughters, Wendy (Fraser) and Judy; and his son, Brent; his seven grandchildren and their spouses; as well as one great-granddaughter. He will also be lovingly remembered by his stepchildren, Victor (Teresa), Terry (Linda) and David (Sandra); seven step-grandchildren and their spouses and seven step-great-grandchildren; John was predeceased by his first wife, Lillian; his mother, Sennie; his father, Lodic; his brother, Daniel and sister, Joyce.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at Centre Street Church “Central Campus” (3900 – 2nd Street N.E., Calgary, AB) on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow in Atrium at the church. Condolences may be forwarded through www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
