I am so sorry to hear about Myrna’s passing. She was a great inspiration and support to me as another AARC Mom. She taught me a lot, listened a lot without judgment. She will be so missed, but so welcomed in the other realm.

to Chantelle and the Kootenay family
My condolences to you all. Myrna was indeed a “warrior” in the field of addiction and the impact on family. She was a very warm, gracious and wise woman. She will be sorely missed.

I only learned of Myrna’s passing today. A friend had told me about Myrna’s work, and I invited her to come and speak at the Canmore Public Library’s Strong Women event. We exchanged emails several times but at the event was the first time I met her. Her talk was honest, real, thoughtful and evocative, and I believe everyone there was moved and inspired in hearing her. I am sorry I didn’t get to know her better, and I am sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
