KOMARNISKY, William (Bill) Victor

December 31, 1944 – Winnipeg, Manitoba
November 19, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta

Bill beloved husband of Helen Komarnisky (nee Zawislak) of Calgary, AB, passed away suddenly with his family by his side on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the age of 72 years.

Bill had many hobbies: fishing, camping, rodeo, cowboys, hockey, football, curling, baseball, gardening, animals, Louie Lamor books, country music, war and western movies and poker. Bill will be remembered for being hard-working and fun-loving by all his family and friends.

Besides his loving wife of fifty years, Helen, Bill is survived by his daughter Christine Moon; his grandchildren, Amanda and Kathryn; his great-granddaughter Rachel Jean Sheppard. He is also survived by his Siblings, Robert Forgo and Linda Forgo; and his nieces, nephews and cousins all of Winnipeg, MB. Bill was predeceased by his mother Jean Komarnisky, sister Caroline Krasey; his niece Mary-Ann Krasey Shewchuk and his loyal dog Roxy.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. A Celebration of Life to follow at Millican Ogden Community Centre. Condolences may be forwarded through
