Bryan Klement of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the age of 62 years.

Bryan was born in Calgary, but grew up in Peace River Alberta. He began his career at the young age of 17 as a welder. Over the years Bryan excelled at his profession that took him many places. He moved his family to Santa Barbara California when he took up a job welding on the off shore rigs.

He returned to Calgary and proudly joined the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Lodge 146 and served as a member for 27 years until his passing.

In 1995 Bryan and Sherry purchased an acreage west of Olds and happily lived there for over 17 years. He took great pride in his home and spent many a happy hour mowing his lawn and tinkering in the garage.

In 2010 they moved into Olds to enjoy a quieter and more relaxed life style. At that time they started travelling and were able to spend some time exploring Bryan’s California.

Bryan’s passions were fishing, golfing and cheering his favorite teams, the Calgary Stampeders, Calgary Flames and LA Rams. Above all Bryan loved being outdoors and with his family.

Bryan is survived by his loving wife Sherry Klement; his brother Brent (Dora);his sister Rebecca (Michael) Frankel and sister Jackie Klement; daughters, Dawn Sanguellini and Brianne Klement (Nino Morales); step-children, Christy (Corey) Molander, Kelly (Mark Thompson) Niemeyer, and Amber Niemeyer; grandchildren, Layne, Sydney, Caleb, Marisol, Darci, Riley, Tristin and Aerianna; great-grandchildren Zachary, Maison, and Landon; nephews Travis Currie, Aaron Currie, Chase Black, Adam, Nathan and Joseph Melech; and his niece Shera-Tova Melech. Bryan was predeceased by his parents Marlene and Leslie; and his brothers Bruce and Blaine Klement.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive N.E., Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, November 28 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences may be forwarded through In lieu of flowers, tune-up your vehicle, check your oil and the air pressure in your tires. Bryan would have wanted that.
