JOHNSON, Audrey Mary (nee Bowman)

November 24, 1933 – November 30, 2018

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our wonderful Auntie Audrey, who left us November 30, 2018.

Audrey was predeceased by her loving husband, Gil Johnson, and her three sisters, Louise Arnold, Ruby Stoughton and Lorraine MacDonald. Audrey leaves behind two step-daughters and many nieces and nephews as well as many good friends.

Our family would like to thank Dr. Roode, Dr. Fleck and the staff in Units 72 & 74 at the Rockyview General Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of Audrey during her last weeks. As well, a special thank you to Lecia and Earl Bourne, close family friends, and good friends and neighbours Arlene Crowe and Irene and Garry Nameth.

Donations may be made in Audrey’s name to a charity of your choice. No service by request.

Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

In living memory of Audrey Johnson, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB, T2X 3J3, Telephone: 403-256-9575.

  3. Our deepest condolences to Audrey’s family. We have known Audrey (and Gil) for many years. Audrey always had a warm smile on her face and we never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. She was always dressed so nicely. Audrey loved to cook and we were the beneficiaries of many a delicious meal (with wine of course). We will miss her. May she Rest In Peace
Lecia and Earl Bourne and family.
