  2. I have such fond memories of George, and will miss his kind spirit and lively personality.

Always one to greet you with a smile and a handshake, George was a true gentleman, and such a positive individual.

Not one conversation ended without George asking about my family and myself. George will be missed dearly, but remembered with high esteem.

Deepest of condolences to the Jakubowski family.

Dear Mary and Family… I am very sad for your loss. It was just the day before that we spoke about losing our Julie and I asked about George. We left any further communication till after I return late in January… You have each other with whom to share grief…

  9. Dear Terry,

Sorry to hear of your father’s passing. I can remember the car rides that you and your father provided me with to the hockey games we played back in the day. Will always appreciate that from you and your dad. My thoughts are with you and your family.

  10. Dear Mary and family: I was so saddened to read about George’s passing. In his walks in the neighborhood, if I was out in the yard, he always stopped by and we had a great chat = not only about the weather but the politics of the country and I shall miss his smiling face. My deepest condolences to you and the family and may your memories of George sustain you at this most difficult time. .

  11. My sincere condolences to the family and friends.

I had the pleasure of working with George for several years at Talisman Energy. At team meetings we always waited for George to comment on our plans and ideas as he was a wealth of knowledge and had advanced reasoned thought processes (compared to ours).

He was a very fine gentleman and the type of man all men could learn from.

One fond memory was, travelling together to Edgerton for a meeting and returning via Wayne, Alberta for a late lunch at the Last Chance Saloon. It was one of the fun seismic days I had.

George will be missed and I thought of him often.

    Best regards

    Doug Iverson
