  8. Dear Holmes family,

The Axford family has known Hal Ray since 1967, when church mornings always included a huge smile and welcome from Hal Ray. That never wavered through the years! He had a most special relationship with our Mom Ruth, and often reminded us of the wonderful times he enjoyed at the Shuswap cabin. His accepting, open, cheerful manner brightened our days: Something to now “pay forward.” We send our deepest sympathy to Hal Ray’s family and friends.

With love, the Axford “kids,” Janet, Bob, Eric and their families.
