  4. Lynn and family. My deepest condolences on the loss of your dear Mother and Grandmother. I have many fond memories of Margaret. Lynn and I became friends when I moved to Calgary in 1974. My Mom Olga and Margaret also became friends and remained friends until dementia separated them. Margaret always treated me like her 2nd daughter. She also ensured I got home safely after visiting Lynn when I was younger. I moved back to Winnipeg in 1983 however when I came back to Calgary to visit my Mom, that visit always included a visit with Lynn. My Mom would always come along so that Lynn, my Mom, Margaret and I could catch up. One thing that I would like Margaret to know is that Lynn at approximately 14 could drive that big old Grand Marquis car around the neighbourhood with me like a pro without ever hitting anything. We would often mark the spot where Barney parked it so that when we returned the car it was in the exact spot Barney parked it. When Barney and Margaret returned from a trip they never knew the car was moved.

Margaret, I wish you could have made it to 100, but I’d say 99 is a good number. Rest peacefully Margaret. You will be missed.

  5. To Lynn and family
I just wanted to express my condolences to you all
I did Margaret’s hair for a while and we had some great talks
She was a stubborn lady knew what she wanted and I had a great many laughs with her in her good times and bad

It was such a pleasure to meet her and glad Margaret crossed my path in my life
I have learned a lot from her and this is why I do what I do

I will miss her deeply but am so glad she is in peace
It was her time and I will miss her

    Please take care
