Dear Cristy and Tara, We are sorry to learn your Mom has passed away. We enjoyed living next door to Marilyn and shared lots of stories and ideas over the fence on Chestnut Street. Moira and Scott, your grandmother loved you both very much and you will miss her. Remember all the happy times that you shared with her.

  11. Dear Cristy and Tara,
Your Mom was a pleasure to know! Her Christmas card to me is still sitting on my china cabinet. I was happy to hear she had moved to Calgary to be closer to you. Our paths crossed through the Oceanside Development Construction Association and also through politics – then we became friends. I was very sad to hear of her passing. She spoke of you both – and her grandchildren, with love and pride. I will always remember her with a smile. Hugs to you both as you journey through this time of loss.

Dear Cristy and Tara and Family
It is such sad news to read of Marilyn’s passing in our local newspaper. I am so very sorry for your loss. Marilyn was such a godsend to me in the early days of establishing my practice in BC. She brought excellence and care to everything she contributed. I will always remember her radiant smile, her elegance and grace, and her wonderful sense of humour. She was especially radiant when sharing her pride for you both, and for her beloved grandchildren. I will think of her fondly when walking at Fish Creek.
