So sorry to hear about Doug’s passing, he was such a lovely man. I feel fortunate to have gotten to know my “big” cousin a little bit over the years at Bears family reunions.

I know that words don’t really soften the blow, but know that you are all in my thoughts.

Condolence from Martin & Trish Riddell & Family on July 16th, 2018 4:58 PM

So sorry to hear about your sad loss. We have very found memories of the first day we moved in across the street, there was Doug sitting on the step with Chuck Bily to welcome us into our new home that was 18yers ago but it meant so much to us all.
We always thought of Doug as Gentleman.

Condolence from Bev and Bill on July 24th, 2018 5:31 PM

Dear Pat and Family. We were so sorry to hear of Doug’s passing. We shall always cherish the times we spent together at the reunions. I remember how kind he was to me when I was in Winnipeg – at 16 – this handsome older man took an interest in me – what a thrill to a little prairie girl. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at his sad time. Love, Bev and Bill
