  2. As a long time member of the Calgary artists Society I loved dealing with Jack. When we had to modify the club’s easels, Jack was there with saw and screwdriver, part of the group of 5 members that shouldered the work. His art reflected his sunny outlook on life, his interest in others and his ready sense of humour. I’m certainly missing him!

  3. My sincere condolences to the Haston family. I was in the ‘Arctic Gas Project’ group (think that was the name) at Imperial Oil from 1974 to 1976 of which Jack was the Manager. We were planning the gas project at Taglu in NWT . Jack was warm, positive and helpful, a good mentor. He was respected well.

  4. Jack welcomed me into the Calgary Artists’ Society and was unfailing kind. I have fond memories of beating through the bushes with Jack looking for the perfect plein air painting spot. Deepest sympathies to the family.
