With sadness we announce the passing of Sherry Patricia Hanson after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Sherry was born January 8, 1943 in Calgary and as a child moved to many parts of Canada with her military family, returning to Calgary in 1966. Sherry was a very kind and generous person, an accomplished artist, business woman and avid motorcyclist for 50 years.

Sherry is survived by her chosen family and friends.

Sherry was predeceased by Alta Bailor, her friend and companion of 46 years.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
