Beatrice Hammer, beloved wife of John Hammer, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the age of 91 years.

Bea was born on June 27, 1926 in Powel River, British Columbia. She married John Hammer on May 11, 1946 in Blairmore, Alberta. They shared a love of “rock hounding”, and would travel in their camper van to collect rocks and turn them into beautiful jewelry. Bea enjoyed casting rings, gardening and cooking. Together Bea and John enjoyed many adventures together in their 70 years.

Bea is survived by her sons, Kirk Hammer and Nancy, Carey Hammer and Dawn; grandchildren Trevor and Melyssa, Adam and Chelsea, Tasha and Clayton, and Michael, step-grandchildren, Jessica and Miguel, Benjamin and Erin; eleven great-grandchildren, Olivia, Owen, Sophea, Liam, Kiara, Kaden, Mikhaila, Deacon, Isla, Liliana, and Tatiana.

Bea was predeceased by her husband John Henry Hammer, who passed away Oct 26, 2016; they were married for 70 years.
