Duane Hall, beloved husband of Sharon Hall (nee Nelson) of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the age of 68 years.

Besides his loving wife of forty-six years, Duane is survived by his son Dana (Cortney) Hall; daughter Kerri (Paul) Frank; grandsons Ty, Colby, Vaughn and Mason; his brother Darrell (Meli) Norquay; Mother-in-law Dorthy Nelson of Rocky Mountain House and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Duane was predeceased by his mother Minnie (Halvorson) Norquay; father Allan Norquay (Bergen, AB); four brothers, Dennis and Kenneth Hall and Randy and Murray Norquay of Bergen.

Duane was a power lineman for over 50 years, including the last 27 years with Enmax. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and colleagues.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. From the first moment I met Duane I knew he was a guy that I wanted to know. He took me under his wing at work and helped me more than anyone ever has.
