Dear Sharon and family. I’m truly so for the loss of your mother. Thee are no words that can truly cover how you feel. Your in my thoughts and prayers. She is at peace now ,and with loved ones.

Condolence from Kappy Flanders on July 16th, 2019 6:37 AM

My deepest sympathy on the death of your beloved mother. She and your father were involved with my husband, Eric and I in putting together a group called the Younger JNF foundation in the late ‘60s early ‘70s in Montréal. We were later together when we all lived in Jerusalem.
I hope that the pain of your grief will become less acute with each passing day.
In Sympathy,
Kappy Flanders.

Condolence from Libby Cohen on July 16th, 2019 10:20 AM

What a huge loss for everyone who knew Blanche. She was a most cherished guest at our family gatherings (Shabbat, holidays, birthdays, etc.) in Montreal. Always a lady–yet with a sharp wit and great sense of humour–Blanche always knew what to say and when. Never judgmental, constantly supportive, and genuinely interested in the welfare of family and friends around her. She was a person with whom we all enjoyed spending time, and whose wisdom helped us in various situations. We will always remember and continue to be inspired by Blanche. With love, Libby and family.

It deeply saddened me to read, accidentally, of my dear friend’s passing….Blanch and I were Saturday Bridge partner’s at Shakespear until she moved to Calgary…She would call me several times a year to catch up on Bridge Club news….I wanted desperately to call her these past few weeks, but couldn’t find her number…I have the fondest memories of this very lovely lady and I shall remember her forever…May she find eternal peace in Gan Eden among the just in Zion and Jerusalem…

I was very sad to learn of Blanche’s death. We met as teenagers in Young Judea and shared many happy times together over the years in Toronto, Montreal, Vermont and Israel. I will miss her rare ability to keep in touch in good times and bad. With love to all her family. May her memory be a blessing.
