September 7, 2019 – Calgary, AB
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bill Gray on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the age of 70 years. He was known for having a vibrant personality and a passion for life! His sense of humour, community volunteering, and being a loyal friend will be deeply missed.
He was highly experienced and educated in plumbing, pipe fitting, gas fitting and mechanical estimating. He also travelled all over the world estimating for several high profile companies. Bill volunteered with the Calgary Jaycees, Thorncliffe Greenview Booster Club and was part of the very successful “Save Our Stamps” campaign, that eventually led to him obtaining a spot on the Board of Directors for the Calgary Stampeders.
Bill played football until he was 42 with the Calgary Cowboys, he played hockey with the TGOT’s into his fifties and was the most dedicated fan and season ticket holder of the Calgary Stampeders. Your traditions and spirit will live on through your loving family. We miss you.
Bill is survived by his children, George (Allison), Cora-Lea, Desiree and Bill (Linsay); He was the grandfather of six beautiful grandchildren, Sidney, Erica, Austin, Dakota, Felix and Mylo.
