GRAHAM, George

June 23, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

George, beloved partner of Judy Walker of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the age of 79 years.

George was born in Kilkeel, Northern Ireland on April 3, 1940. He was a Presbyterian. George was very proud of building the Old Man Dam and building the LRT on Cemetery Hill in Calgary. In his spare time he enjoyed bingo, horse racing and playing the lottery. George retired from construction as a bulldozer operating engineer. For the last thirty years he worked for Standard General Construction. His biggest dream was to win the lottery.

Besides his loving partner Judy Walker, George is survived by his sisters, Annie, Mary, Doris, Margaret and Ruth all from Kilkeel, Northern Ireland; brothers, Robert, Jimmy, Johnny, Stanley, Norman and Gordon. George was predeceased by his brother Willie.

A Celebration of George’s Life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion – Centennial Calgary Branch 285 (9202 Horton Rd SW, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.McInnisandHolloway.com.   3. I will certainly miss George, he was a good neighbor and friend. I liked to hear him laugh and talking away with that Irish accent sounding like he had just kissed the Blarney Stone. Judy you will miss him but there were some good memories for you to help in this sad time.
