GIOFU, Brad Dean

November 19, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta

Brad Dean Giofu, beloved son, brother, uncle & friend, of Calgary, Alberta passed away on November 19, 2018 at the age of 57 years.

Brad is survived by his mother Shirley; his brothers; Brett (Debbie), Calvin (Ronda), Dennis; his sister-in-law Patti; his best friend Heather McKenzie; his nieces Penny (Mike), Tanna (Scott), Natasha, Cathy, Hayley Goldie, Cassie Niemi (Kyle); and nephews Mathew (Shantel), Brandon and William Goldie. Brad is also survived by the McKenzie family, Kay, Heather, Ross, Garth and Molly, which he considers to be his second family.

He is predeceased by his father Constantine; his brother Alan; and Ralph McKenzie.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street S.E., Calgary, AB) on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.

Celebration of Life in honor of Brad will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street S.E., Calgary, AB) on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

    My deepest condolences to the Brad Giofu and McKenzie families. May God be with you during this most difficult time. I remember my mom, Margaret Maystruck (Brad’s aunt) used to visit with Brad and take him out for supper whenever she was in Calgary for business meetings. Of course, this was many years ago, but I remember how very much she enjoyed spending time with Brad.
