GELMON, Jay Ilan

June 9, 1956 – Vancouver, British Columbia
May 24, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta

Jay is the son of Eva and Al Gelmon of Calgary and passed away in Calgary, on May 24, 2015.

He was born in Vancouver in 1956. He developed a deep love of family, automobiles, and travel by road. He was an avid collector of American “Power Cars” including Corvettes, Camaros, and Cadillacs. Jay’s happiest days were on the road exploring the endless North American Highways but couldn’t wait to see his brothers and their families. Jay will be forever missed.

Jay is the loving brother of Cory Gelmon of Calgary, Michael Gelmon of Calgary, and Lewis Gelmon of Victoria, BC. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews and two sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by his mother Eva Gelmon in 2008.

Funeral Services will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 17818 37th Street S.W., (North East Corner of Highway 22X & 37th Street S.W.) on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Beth Tzedec Memorial Park Cemetery.
