  10. Ben was a good friend as well as a good customer over the past 30 years that I knew him, I have never known a man that could work and do the things Ben did. He always wanted to go for lunch with some of the “old” Bow Valley Welding guys and we never did it I regret the missed opportunity, when we get a chance to be with good friends we need to do it. He will be and is missed by anyone he contacted.

  22. Ben was a like a father to me with many fond memories of growing up in northeast Calgary with Matthew, Julian and Michael. I’ll always look back with a smile at our times sitting around his table for many a meal over the years in Monterey Park. Ben was kind enough to allow me to enjoy many a camping trip across Southern Alberta with his family, which I loved so much. A true gentlemen and role model. A testament to his boys and lovely wife, Adele.

I offer my deepest condolences to all of the Gambles. My father, Gerry, will be representing the entire Kerr family at his funeral service.

Thank you for all the fantastic memories that I’ll always hold close to my heart Ben. Rest in Peace.

  25. Matt, I was very proud to work with your dad several times over the years, but one instance in mind sticks out. During the 2013 floods, he continued to weld for 16 hours straight while I handed him rod and controlled his heat. I have a lot of respect for Ben, and he always treated me very well after that ordeal.
The world has lost an extremely honorable man.

Rejoice with them that do rejoice and weep with them that weep.

No words can describe the emotional turmoil I am feeling right now. The joy of doing what Ben and I do and the reality of the fact that life is finite. That accidents do happen and can result in death. If I could be so lucky as Ben. To go quickly with out pain doing what I love to do as did Ben. He has taught me so much more but this life is to be lived today and not tomorrow. A Great husband, father, grand father and friend. A man full of the love shared with us by Jesus Christ. He put the joy in my life his goal and in return got a biker buddy, friend for life. I thank you all and especially Adele for sharing him with me.
Another left me this message and I would like to share it with you.
Happiness is caused by things that happen around us and circumstances will mark it; but joy flows right through trouble; joy flows on through the dark; joy flows in the night as well as in theday; joy flows al through persecution and opposition. It is an unceasing fountain bubbling up in the heart; a secret spring the world can’t see and doesn’t know anything about. The Lord gives his people perpetual joy when they walk in obedience to him.
God bless you all at this time of mourning your loss.
