Many good memories of Flo while living at Sandalwood Adult Community in Kelowna. She was so proud of her children and loved to talk about them and their accomplishments. She was also what nurses of today should be. Rest in Peace, Flo

To Sam and all the Gainer siblings,
I have such fond memories of your Mom Flo, she was one of the kindest persons I have ever met. I especially remember her good night kisses whenever I slept over as a kid; I was very touched to be treated like all her other children! I also remember her vibrant smile and laugh.
I’m sorry to be unable to attend the funeral this weekend, but know my thoughts are with you all.

  9. Elaine Jones :

Mom and I would like to offer our condolences to the family of Flo Gainer. Mom lost touch with her after she moved to Kelowna but really missed visiting with her. I remember her checking my eyes after my surgery, around 1959 or so, when she gave me a yellow purse and taught me a song. I have fond memories of school days with Rita. I’m so sorry for your loss.
