Condolence Messages

  1. I had the distinct privilege of meeting and visiting Georgette along with my wife, Georgette’s niece Helene Belisle, three years ago and again this past summer. She told us many interesting stories, some funny and some not. One that stands out in my mind is the story about how she made the best “chicken soup”. Now every time I have chicken soup I think of her. My sincere condolences are sent to Allison & Gordon and Georgette’s entire family. My thoughts are also with her close friends Betty & May you all cherish the good memories you have of Georgette & may she rest in peace.

Dear Allison and ‘Rrronny’ (as tante Georgette called you, rolling that ‘r’ good with her French accent! :), and family – please accept my sincere condolences for your loss.

One of the sweetest memories i have of your mom is how she knit a beautiful pink dress with a ribbon at the waist for my daughter Caroline in 1981, the year she was born. We lived in Toronto at that time and she sent the dress in a parcel for Caroline’s birth. How I LOVED that dress! My daughter wore it for all special occasions until she was 3-4 years, it was that ‘flexible’. I don’t know if your mom knew how very special that dress was to me – it still fills me with tante Georgette’s broad smile and hearty laugh whenever i see it in a photo 🙂

God bless you and your family especially during these days, but for always. Xox

  7. As late as this morning, as Jim and I went about our Tuesday routine, the thought went through my mind, “We’ll call on Georgette”, then the feeling of loss flooded through me. I know Georgette’s family are feeling the same sense of loss. You have Jim’s and my condolences. She was a wonderful friend.
