  8. Aaron & Keltie Bilkoski :

    Patti, Michael, Mitchell, and Jane,
I was so very sorry to hear of John’s passing. We worked together for many years and he was a very dear friend. In fact, I would go so far as to say he thought of me as a kid sister and I certainly cared and admired him as I would a big brother.
John’s laughter and good humor made those unbearably early mornings on the desk a bit more tolerable.
He was one in a million and I will miss him terribly.
I hope you all can find comfort and peace at this very difficult time.
    With much love,
    Keltie & Aaron Bilkoski

I am sorry to hear of John’s passing. John and I played hockey for several years here in Calgary followed by beers and wings at one of our favorite watering holes. John’s goaltending was always something I looked forward to seeing, especially when I was lucky enough to get one by him. His humour and knowledge will be greatly missed and spending even just a couple of hours with him just a few weeks ago, will be a memory I will never forget. My Condolences to the Finkle Family.

When you arrived at the Peters & Co. trading desk each morning, whatever emotional baggage you brought along was recklessly checked at the door by John, and replaced with a “stream of consciousness” style of humour that served to continuously brighten your day.
It was a wonderful experience to have known and to have worked with such an exceptional individual.
