Condolence Messages

  1. Willow Jeppson :

I was so blessed to become acquainted with Mr. Enta this past summer. The first time I saw him, before we’d even been introduced, he smiled and waved, and I felt immediately his warmth and genuine kindness. The next day when I got to meet him and Marion, at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Lenox, MA, I got to have a sampling of his keen mind, witty humor, grateful spirit, and generosity. What a memory he had, and what an infectious laugh and radiant optimism. He even bought me lunch, along with his wife’s and daughter Maureen’s. I will treasure my memories of him and remain grateful that I got to know Tom Enta. With love to Marion, Maureen, Jayne, and the rest of your wonderful family, Willow

  2. Catherine Caldwell :

I was a patient of Dr. Enta’s off and on over several decades, and was saddened to read of his passing. He was such a wonderful doctor — so personable, warm, and informative, always so “present” in appointments, making you feel very heard. Like you were the only patient in the world at that moment. There aren’t many doctors like Dr. Enta. Condolences to his family on your loss.

  6. Barbara Grutter :

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to family and friends on the loss of Dr Tom Enta.
Our family histories go back in time to two small farms owned by our families on the outskirts of Vancouver. My parents and grandmother were at the train station to bid the Enta family farewell when they left for New Denver so many years ago.
A few years ago I met Dr Enta at Foothills Hospital and we shared some memories and stories of that time so long ago.
Again my Condolences to the Enta Family on the loss of a very fine person.
Sincerely, Barb Grutter(nee Mccluskey, grandaughter of Tilly Cornish)

  9. Rev. David M. Crawford :

Even though my time serving at McDougall UC was quite brief (March-May/14), the people there were so generous with their hospitality and welcoming spirit. I recall Tom as one who exuded a truly magnanimous, quietly gregarious spirit, and who attended many Bible studies, as well as other congregational activities. He supported and encouraged this “fill-in-minister” with grace and humor. Thanks be to God for Tom and the promises of God that meant so much to him!
