It is with great sadness that I learned of Gregg passing last evening from Grant and Marty. There will never be enough words on a page or volumes in books to say the words that I want to express to you folks.
Gregg was more than my first cousin, he was family and I know in all of our conversation we always had the dad, pride conversation on how well you three kids had progressed and grown over the years. I, like you will miss him greatly. Gods Blessing to you all and his protection.

  4. To the Elliot family, I am so sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Gregg for long, but in our conversations and correspondence it was apparent how much he loved his family. He was so glad to be moving closer to his brother Grant and his family. To Colleen, Sean, and Liam…your Dad spoke so highly of all three of you, and with so much love. He took such delight in the adults you are becoming, and was so very proud of each of you. My heart is with you all as you journey through your grief and pain, and celebrate your Dad’s (Brother’s) life.
    Sincerely, Lianne Johnson
    Nelson, BC

  5. As tragic of the event, this 10th century Viking Prayer matches our heritage
Lo, there do I see my father.
Lo, there do I see my mother.
And my sister and my brother
Lo, there do I see the line of my people
    Back to the beginning.
Lo, they do call to me.
They bid me take my place among them
    In the halls of Valhalla
Where the brave may live forever.
Rest in Peace Gregg, God Bless you and your love ones

  6. I know that I have communicated my respects for Gregg through other channels already, but also wanted to register them here. Gregg was a wonderful man. I feel so privileged to have been able to direct the Calgary Boys’ Choir under his presidency. He was dedicated, organized, kind and supportive… wholly approachable and amiable. I will remember Gregg. My thoughts are with Maureen, Liam, Sean and Colleen. Sincerely.

    Grant & Marty,
I am sorry for your loss. I was trying to find a way to contact you when I came across the obituary. 55 is way to young.

  8. Grant, so sorry to hear about Gregg’s passing. I am sure you still miss him and I hope time has retained all your happy memories. I still remember all mine from our teen year years together, including not pulling the dinner Carrots before he and I grated them! Your mom was horrified.
