EEDY, Frank George

November 26, 2018 – Cochrane, Alberta

Frank Eedy, beloved husband of Beth Eedy of Symons Valley, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the age of 95 years.

Frank spent most of his life involved with Herford Cattle, golfing and later in life, thoroughbred horses.

Besides his loving wife, Frank is also survived by his brother John Eedy of Toronto; nephew Michael (Kym); nieces, Pat (Bob), Martha, Rosemary (Bill), and Laurel; sisters-in-law, Barbara (Ed) and Pat (Dave); and many nieces and nephews on Beth’s side of the family.

Frank was predeceased by his three brothers; one sister; and two nephews.

  2. Were going to miss him liked to hear the stories about growing up how he loved to travel where he went ,about the war.
    His love of the Hereford cattle ,golf .Base ball, and stories of his family down east and the bakery. Enjoyed the race track horses became one of his enjoyment and living in the valley and visiting friends and family. He was called uncle Frank too so many even ones that weren’t related.Loved his life said was a good one.

  4. Rest in peace my friend. You lived a long life and provided much enjoyment to those you met along the way. We met in the 70s at the racetrack and our last conversation was about the new track at Century Downs. I will miss our long lunches and chats on everything from horse racing to politics!
