Raymond (Doc) Drabble beloved husband of Ann Drabble (nee Hyrich), passed away on July 23, 2018 at the age of 79 years.

During his career, Ray worked at numerous oil and gas companies, including: Anglo America, Purity 99, Royalite, and Gulf. Ray and Ann enjoyed: travelling, square dancing, cruising, and spending time with family and friends.

Ray is also survived by a son, Tim (Betty); daughter, Sheryl (Jim) Ficzere; two special grandsons, Austin and Evan; sister, Maureen (Art) Weeks; two brothers-in-law, Dan (Rita) Hyrich and Fred Hyrich; sister-in-law, Jean Hyrich as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A private Graveside Service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

We are so sorry to hear of Doc’s death. It was so great to see him at the Stampede breakfast such a short time ago, and hard to think that he is gone. We did enjoy square dancing with you both for many years.

Another good man gone – we are so sorry to hear of your loss – Doc was one of a kind from the time I met him 50 odd years ago . His sense of humor was known by all . Dear Ann, Sheryl, Jim, Tim,Betty, Austin and Evan,
We are very sorry to hear of Doc’s passing. We have lost a very dear special family friend. We enjoyed many, many great years of camping, skiing, dancing, singing and playing cards. Most of all Doc was an all round good person willing to help out whenever necessary. Doc was a good family man. Doc had a lot of suffering during his final years but wanted to be around people. May he Rest In Peace.

Dear Ann and Family
Hearing of the loss of Doc has brought back a flood of good memories of the early Gulf years (late 60’s early 70’s). Doc was a gentleman, willing to lend a hand with every task. He had a keen sense of humor and was lots of fun. We feel a deep sadness with his passing. Please accept our condolences.
