Condolence Messages

  1. Hakim and Danielle Sikander

Jasper, a dear friend of our family, ever since Hakim met him in a Shell Field Trip in Utah, is someone (with Tina), we always sought advice from and welcomed in our midst at every backyard barbeque or a get together of friends. Every time we drove by Dalhousie Drive, I commented whether the Dooges were home because we could see their driveway on Dalham Cresc. NW. from the intersection. I will miss his crispy sense of humour and an open smile. We were honoured to receive invitation to attend his his 25th wedding anniversary celebration and then 25 years later to his 50th. May he keep his sense of humour wherever he is. We love you Jasper.

  2. Dr. Larry Marks

    Dear Tina and family,

Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss of Jasper. He was a geological (and to be honest, Alberta Stock Exchange) mentor to me for several years at Shell during the 1980’s. I am forever indebted to him for the time and patience he took teaching me about the geology of the Devonian in the Canadian Foothills. My career would not have been as successful or enjoyable without his teaching. He was always a man of integrity in our business dealings with partners and competitors. Jasper is one of these rare, but special, people one meets on life’s journey and I am grateful to have known him well. He will be missed. Larry Marks
