Dear Rashna and rest of Neville’s Family:
On behalf of ExxonMobil and me personally please receive our most sincere and deepest condolences. Neville worked with us here in Halifax for the last two years and quickly became a member of our Sable family. His professionalism was only surpassed by his kindness. He was a wonderful, caring and loving man and will remain in our hearts forever.

We are in deep pain for his passing and hope that you find the strength to celebrate his life

  3. Christina Dewar :

I worked across the hall from Neville (at Sable Decommissioning), and for the short time I had the pleasure to work with him, it was not hard to tell how much he loved his family, often talking about his son, wife, and mother in particular. His gentle, unassuming way made it easy to be around him, but he also had a twinkle in his eye that revealed his fun side. And that laugh, oh my, I’ll never forget the distinctive, wonderful giggle of his! He was always interested in others, considerately and genuinely asking about my husband, his job, and my sons. Neville and I loved to talk about food and he would often bring me in Indian treats to test. Bless his heart. Sending love to Neville and his family from Halifax. xo

    Dear family of Neville
I also worked with Neville when I was in the Halifax office. Both Neville and I shared a passion for talking about food. I often recall him visiting my office to discuss a work related topic and when he left we both forgot about what it was he came to visit about as we both ended up chatting about food. He will be missed and he leaves behind some fond memories.

    Dear family of Neville,
I worked with Neville for several years in Calgary on the Nabiye project. I enjoyed his compassion and his humour. On one of our trips to Cold Lake, he introduced me to Hummus as a main course … it was very good. He will be missed. Praying for all of you.

    Dear Neville’s family,

Please accept my deepest condolences for your family’s loss. I worked with Neville for two years on the Nabiye Project and spent a significant amount of time with him both on the road travelling to and from Cold Lake as well as in the Calgary office with him. Neville was both a friend and a mentor to me as well. No matter how busy, he always took the time to ask how I was doing and have a conversation about our lives outside of work. His sense of humor always brought smiles and laughter to those around him. He will be missed.

I first met Neville through work in 2004. He was a very kind & mild-mannered man yet he could stick to his guns over something he was passionate about. He didn’t get to work with us in St. John’s for very long but his is truly missed. Please accept my condolences.

  15. Dear Rashna and rest of Neville’s Family:
I would like to offer my deepest condolences for your loss. I had worked with Neville for many years and was privileged to spent 6 months with him in Paris. He was the most inquisitive person I had ever met – it would be nothing for him to stop strangers on the street and ask what they were doing. I remember him stopping some young men playing bocce ball and none of them able to speak English or him to speak French and before I knew it, he was engaged in a full out game as one of the boys. My favorite memory will always be seeing him most mornings – standing at a street sign, repeating the words in French and trying to relate the words to the pictures. He was unique and will truly be missed.
