DIXON, Dwayne Kenneth

July 13, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta

Our much loved dad, Dwayne K Dixon, passed away at age 86 on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Carewest Sarcee Hospice in Calgary. AB.

Dwayne was born in Maple Creek, SK, resided in Calgary for the past 30 years and the past 3 years at Huntington Manor. Dwayne was known for his ease in conversation, gentleman manner and simple things around him which he never took for granted. He had a successful career with New Holland farm machinery. Dwayne and Betty traveled extensively during his working career. Later in life he developed a love of golf and became a life time member at the Carstairs Golf course. Dwayne loved photography, flying model airplanes, wine making, buying new cars every two years, big T.V.’s, technology and volunteering at the airplane museum.

Dwayne is survived by sons Terry, Dale (Patty); grandson Ken (Jodi); special friend Jeannine; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Dwayne was predeceased in death by his wife Betty; infant children Shane, Shannon, Ricky; parents Theresa and Kenneth; sister Audrey; stepbrothers Everett and Garth.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
