To Peggy’s family and friends, my deepest condolences. Peggy and I where very good friends when I lived in Calgary. Unfortunately we lost touch when I left Alberta. This morning, through a mutual good friend, Marilyn Veach, I heard that Peggy passed away. Tears trickled down my cheek. I will always remember Peggy’s smile, her laugh, her kindheartedness, and the good times we shared. Rest in peace my friend.

    To Peggy’s Family:
My deepest condolences to you all. I knew Peggy through the Shiels family . I looked up to Peggy as a role model for the determination to endure life even though I had a disability. A lot of good times. Love you Peggy may you have peace.
    Sincerely ,

  4. ok
i leave this late because i just couldn’t grasp the fact that Peggy (or Peggatha as she called herself when the whim struck her) has moved on. and that is one of the things about Peg … she embodied whimsy while firmly planted in the physical world because of her health challenges. quite a trick.
Peggy was too unique for a mortal like me to put into words. i think of a tinkerbell
who had beauty and lightness, but you better not mess with her.
another of Peg’s favourite words also defines her …. you were swell, Peggy, and you
will stay that way for me…. you are swell and i love you so much. my heart goes out to the family and friends … the sorrow is deep … i will miss you every day… when i put on a hat or when i put elastic bands around my wallet … every day
