DENNIS, Kathleen Elizabeth (nee Yeats)

June 16, 1936 – Cumbria, England
January 17, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

Kathleen Dennis of Calgary passed away surrounded by her family on January 17, 2019 at the age of 82.

Kathleen was born in the Lake District of England and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1951. In 1963, she met the love of her life Raymond, and they shared nearly fifty-two amazing years together. Kathleen was an active volunteer for many years and was known for her compassion and kindness. She loved to travel and had fond memories of living in Canmore. Her strong inner spirit and sense of humour will be greatly missed.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter Brenda; son Bradley; sisters, Margaret Mackay and Hazel Mader; brother Andrew Yeats (Carol); in-laws, Thelma Dennis, Louise Gelinas, Jim Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Raymond, and in-laws Evelyn Brown and Ray Gelinas.

A private family prayer service was held and at Kathleen’s request, there will be no memorial service. Condolences may be forwarded through
