James Decoux of Calgary passed away on Saturday December 27, 2014 at the age of 43 years.

James has lived in Vancouver, Calgary and Kelowna. Calgary was always home. Wherever James went, he made life long friends. His friendships and relationships he built and maintained over time and over any distance. James loved to travel with friends. He traveled to Turkey, Disneyland, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and went on many camping trips with friends and family. Even though he faced significant challenges of his own, he was always able to put it behind him and help other people overcome their challenges and obstacles. He loved to spend time with his beloved dog Cora. He had an amazing sense of humour. Even when he was unwell, he was able to make you laugh. James was able to make you believe you could do anything.

James is survived by his son Justin Decoux of Calgary; step father Frank Buchenel; grandma Ivy; step-sister Angie (Myles) ; sisters, Robinray, Brenna (Grant), Maxine; brothers, Craig, Edward (Mia);Nieces and Nephews, Ethan, Claire, Dante and Abby; Many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. James was predeceased by his parents Brian and Ruth Decoux.

A celebration of life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY(Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through
