  8. Dear Gerry and family, Sincere sympathy on the passing of Howie. Everyone will miss his friendship, camaraderie and his ‘punny’ jokes. Over the almost forty years of acquaintance, Clyde and I enjoyed the many card games and hours of visiting. I valued his advice and counsel. I hope the love and support of your family and friends will comfort you in this time of sorrow.

Uncle Howie was a big part of our lives! From holiday dinners when we were young, back in Montreal, to being part of my kids lives, in Calgary. I have a memory of being around 7 yrs old & having my tonsils out, and staying a night at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. I was scared being alone there. Uncle Howie was there in the morning, to cheer me up, with a toy car ( my favourite things at the time). He was a very caring, loving person.
So many great memories of him & my dad, Warren, laughing & reminiscing about there youth. Sherry & I send our love to Aunt Gerry, Gill, Geoff & Brent, et all, during this difficult time.

  16. Dear Gerry and Family,
My sincere condolences to you and your family. Howie will be deeply missed. I loved seeing his warm smile and visiting with him at chorus events. He was always charming and fun. Thinking about Howie always brings these words to mind: “Tomorrow’s another day, I hope and pray we’ll be together” and every time I sing this song I think of him!

    Gerry and entire family,
My sincere condolences to you all.
Howard was a great man. We had quite a few amusing moments. Last time I talked to him he said he would love to see me soon. I am afraid that was too soon. Will miss his humour. May he Rest In Peace.
