Condolence Messages

  1. It was with great sadness that I read of Don’s passing. I was a popular organ student who studied with Jacqueline Hilton and Don always provided the organs from Craig’s Keyboards for the competitions at the Kiwanis Music Festival. My sister and I both worked at the booth Don always had at the Calgary Stampede, demonstrating the organs in the early 80’s.. It was the best summer job one could ask for. Don was generous, kind and had a wonderful laugh. My deepest condolences to the family. Don had a great impact on my life and I feel lucky that I got to know him.

  2. My musical combo shared many a stage with Don and BRASS over the years, the last time in Lacombe in the summer of 2017. Our musical styles were an ideal pairing. Don was a big man with an outgoing personality to match and I was saddened to learn of his unexpected passing. My heartfelt sympathy to Linda and all members of Don’s family, to his barbershop harmony colleagues also. Alberta has lost a musical treasure.
