Condolence Messages

  1. From Laureen Foster and Vivian Hills’ families.

Our love and thoughts go out to all of you. Your Mom and Dad were a big part of the Coutu family reunions. While your Dad had numerous stories to tell, it was wonderful to share a quiet moment with your Mom. She always had a smile and kind word. God Bless you all and know your Mom is holding your Dad’s hand again.

    From the Denise Wowk Family,

Words can’t express how saddened we are to hear of your loss; our heartfelt sympathies to all of you. When you boys were young, your Dad and Mom use to come to Lac La Biche for ball tournaments and to visit. Then later on we would meet at the Coutu Reunions. Your Mom was a wonderful lady; remember her with a smile. Our love and prayers to the family.

  3. John and Ann Scheer

We wish to send all our sympathies on the tragic loss of Margaret. She and Ann were chums all the way through school and High School. She was such a quiet and kind person, someone you could rely on. We both worked hard at school and would often stay after school with friends Anna Quon and John Frey to work on math assignments. We needed and appreciated the extra help those others gave us. Marg and Ann attended C.G.I.T. and held birthday parties together growing up. Such good memories!
Sadly, John and Ann will not be able to attend Marg’s service as we are not physically able. We send Helen and the family all our best wishes and deepest sympathies on the loss of Margaret.

My heart was deeply saddened to hear of Aunty Margaret’s passing. Numerous memories are held close as our families grew together in Holden. I also have very fond memories of living with Grandma, Granddad & Aunt Helen when I attended SAIT. Now Uncle Don, Aunty Margaret & My Dad can sit around the “big campfire in heaven”. We love & miss them deeply and will remember them forever. Our prayers and deepest sympathy go out to All the Family.

  6. Brian (Ack) Atkinson

    Dear Rob, Darrell and families,
Sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. This has brought back many great memories of hanging out at the Coutu household over the years.
First and foremost was the trust they had in me while house-sitting. Darrell, I fondly remember coming back to the house after golfing with you, and your Mom had this awesome steak feast prepared. One of the best I ever had (those were the days). Rob, all the great times growing up with my birthday brother through hockey, baseball and school (and all the hi-jinks that ensued). Where has the time gone?
Margaret always had a warm and friendly home, great meals and an inviting place to let us be us. I always appreciated her support (along with your Dad’s) at our sporting events.
    Sorry for your loss,
    Sincerely, Ack
