COOK, Raymond “Ray” Carl

October 20, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta

Ray, beloved husband of Marjorie Cook (nee Rosenau), of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the age of 83 years, with his family by his side.

Ray enjoyed camping, traveling, and family gatherings. He spent thirty years working with Air Canada at YYC.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Marjorie; his children and their spouses, Linda and Rob of Airdrie, Jamie and Richard of Lloydminster, Rhonda and Lyle of Calgary, and Steven and Amaris of Calgary; grandchildren and their spouses, Christina and Justin, Ashley and Shawn, Wes and Amanda, Kyle, Ty, Ryley, Hayley, Carley, Sorena, Gabriel, Joel; great-grandchildren, Keyira, Cayden, William, and Evelyn; along with his cousins, Peggy and Donnie.

Ray was predeceased by his grandson, Robbie; brothers, Lloyd and Harry; and sister-in-law, Lois Cook.

Funeral Services will be held at Highwood Lutheran Church (419 Northmount Drive N.W., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the church.
