Dear Cec and family
From the very first time we had the pleasure of meeting Glen until our last visit with him, he was, always, the gentleman of gentlemen.
It was easy to see, he adored you Cec and that his life totally revolved around you and his family. What a pleasure to be in the company of you both as a married couple of 62 years and what a testament of your love for each other.
Glen loved a good prank, a good laugh, a good joke and a good hug.
We shall miss him dearly.
Know we hold you close in our hearts, thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Condolence from Robyn MacKay on January 17th, 2019 11:56 AM

Dear Cec, we are so sad to hear of Glen’s passing. We will always remember his smile when he came to see our dad at the ice cream store and how he lit up the room and our lives. He was our rock to lean on when dad passed away, and our business would not have survived without his mentorship. He was there for us whenever we called – no matter what we needed. He will always be the golden shimmering thread that holds Rhona and I together in our tapestry of life. We send you and your family love, grace, and peace.
Robyn and Rhona MacKay

Dear Celie and Family,
Our deepest condolences, may your family , friends and faith help sustain you now, may each new day bring more comfort and peace.
We have such fond memories of Glen, beginning with the evening you brought him over to meet the Nickason Clan. There was so much fun and laughter, naturally including billiards with the resident pool sharks.
We rested assured that our cousin was entering into a lifelong partnership with a a very handsome, charming, gregarious, impressive young man.

family well. To relive those times with you and Glen
in recent years has been a gift to my husband and myself.
A fine, bright flame has left you, his precious family.

Condolence from Douglas Hall on January 18th, 2019 5:26 PM

I “second” the deservedly wonderful sentiments expressed above, and would like to add a couple of personal points that crystallize what a patient, kind gentleman he was.
For years, we held weekly band practice at Mr. and Mrs. Clark’s home. From memory, it was usually on a Sunday evening, when most people get to appreciate a peaceful and relaxing, quiet time before the start of a hectic work week. Cec and Glen DID NOT get that chance! Instead, they heard plenty of mistakes, wrong notes and musical discourse that typifies practice -all pumped through amplification and large speakers. Yet Mr. and Mrs. Clark always greeted us with warm smiles and fond hello’s. And despite our actions absolutely crying out for the words: “Turn that racket down!” it was never uttered in the Clark household.

But shockingly, this was not the worst abuse that they endured at our hands in those days. Since much of our equipment was stored at their home, between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM on many weekends, we would show up at their back door, and noisily make several trips up and down their back stairs, sometimes tracking snow and muck all over the house. But I never heard a complaint from either living saint; Cec and Glen were far too nice.

You two raised three beautiful, intelligent, successful, hardworking children and now have passed your kindness -and good looks!- on to your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Glen was the very definition of a life, well lived.

Condolence from Jean-Paul Maillot on January 18th, 2019 5:59 PM

Condolence from Jay Emond on January 22nd, 2019 1:37 PM

Our sincerest condolences to Cec, Cliff, Heather, Kent, and the extended Clark Family.

We met Glen at SPRY (Senior Persons Regaining Youth), where we regularly exercised and socialized for several years. Glen was strong, and humorous and added spice to our Group of 65 Seniors and Cec did a wonderful job of keeping this rambunctious “Boy’ in check.

We will certainly keep him in our memories and thank him for having been an enjoyable part of our Senior Adventures.

Coordinator of SPRY
