With deep sadness we started to write this; but our sadness would nowhere near the loss suffered by Helen, Nadia, Stephanie, Allison and the Chungs. The loss of a most loving husband and father, a lifelong friend and companion must leave all of you in total shock. How could we even attempt to describe the pain and the emptiness?

We understand that Raymond would be the first person who would offer help to others in need, but the last person to receive any favour. So we could imagine, all his past worries and concerns about his health must have weighted so heavily on him when he had to relying on others to take care of him. We wouldn’t really know the sufferings he must have endured; and we wouldn’t know how helpless he must have felt when his beautiful soul had been trapped in the old body that could no longer serve him well. Raymond said yes to heaven’s call, with that entire burden lifted, now his spirit once again soars high, continues to do what he had done best – loving all of you.

We shall remember Raymond in our prayers. Perhaps now seeing all of us being very sad; Raymond is too sending his blessings for us to heal. We should fulfil his wish and fully live our lives in loving honour of his.

Mary Lau, Peter Leung and family
