July 21, 1948 – Calgary, Alberta
May 28, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Christensen of Calgary, AB. He passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease on Monday, May 28, 2018 at the age of 69 years.
Ken was a simple man, with simple pleasures, camping, fishing, quading and skidooing were the things he loved the best. Ken and Deb’s place in Fairmount Hot Springs was his most favorite place to be. As Ken liked the simple things, this is going to be a simple obituary.
Besides his loving wife, Deb, Ken is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Sarah; as well as his grandchildren, Morgan and Ty, who he adored to the end and back. He is also survived by his loving parents, Bernhardt and Nancy Christensen; four brothers, Gord and family, Brian and family, Wayne and family and Kirk and family. He loved all of his numerous nieces and nephews. He loved to spend as much time with family as he could. A lover of corny jokes as much as a good game of cards. Ken is going to be very much missed by all of us.
“We remember their love when they can no longer Remember.”
