Condolence Messages

  1. So sad for the family to experience this loss… both families. His original wife Rose predeceased him in 1974, and his children from that marriage survive him and mourn his passing. The loss of a loved one is fraught with raw emotions, and it saddens me to think that his original family has been omitted here… one would have hoped that it would be a time to pull together and support each other. They also loved him and had a strong connection and I am so proud of his daughter for being there when he passed. RIP Aldo… you were loved.

  2. As a childhood friend of Aldo’s daughter, my heart breaks for his loss. My mom Vera Gonza has fond memories of Aldo and his wife Rose while they lived in Thunder Bay, before her passing, including many dances and home parties amongst friends of the Slovenian community. Aldo was one of the drivers of the bridal party at my parents’ wedding. I have childhood memories of Aldo & Rose and their children & taking dance lessons with their daughter. I hope good memories help in the healing. Rest in Peace Aldo.

  3. Dearest Kuma, Aldo. May you rest in peace and know you were loved and thought of even though the miles separated us. May Doris and Ivan find peace knowing that you’re now in God’s hands and with my Botra, reunited once again. May your family, friends and those who grieve find peace and solace. Sleep well, Kuma. I love you. Mariann.

I am so saddened to hear that the world has lost Aldo, he was truly a wonderful man and absolutely ‘one of a kind’. I am, however, equally saddened to see no mention of of his first wife Rose, who was tragicaly taken from him and his children so long ago, in his obituary.
Death is so very difficult for the people who are left behind.
Please know that time will heal.
He was loved and he will be missed.
